Sushma Swaraj has made it very clear what you get if you dare to mess with her on Twitter

The External Affairs minister snapped at the man from Pune who came around with a tweet asking for a transfer for his wife.

Sushma Swaraj has been known for helping people out via Twitter and getting stranded citizens to safety. She has been a favourite with people too for the same reason, but she made it very clear that she is not here to solve people’s personal problems and shut down a man who asked for a transfer for his wife.

It all started when a man based in the US asked Swaraj to help out with his wife’s passport as he was having to stay away from her.

@SushmaSwaraj @governorswaraj hello madam please help my wife get passport cleared. I am forced to live without her in US. Passport issues.

Keeping up to her helpful profile the Foreign Affairs minister gave a witty reply to the man.

Ohh ! This banwas should end soon. @CPVIndia https://t.co/w4cqRYTMis

She even tagged the authorities and made her intentions to help the man out very clear. All was going smooth till the time another man entered the scene with a snarky tweet. One cannot even figure out why he thought this was the appropriate place to tweet out his problem to her.

@SushmaSwaraj Can u plz help us in ending our banwas in India? My wife is in Jhansi Rly employee and I work in Pune in IT. Been a year+.

The MEA was quick in response to him and pretty much shut him down so well that he would now always think before tweeting.

If you or your wife were from my Ministry and such a request for transfer was made on twitter, I would have sent a suspension order by now. https://t.co/LImngQwFh6

What’s noticeable is that in spite of being visibly miffed with the man she did get Suresh Prabhu in the loop and asked him to look into the matter.

@sureshpprabhu I have received this tweet.pic.twitter.com/gXhQAhQNA8

Suresh Prabhu was also quick to reply and inform the man of being unable to help out the couple in any way.

1/Thanks @SushmaSwaraj ji for bringing it to my notice.As per policy laid by me,I don’t look into transfers.Railway Board empowered for same https://t.co/WSqxinGx1u

Among all the field days Twitter has, this one sure stood out and we all have now been given a specimen of what happens when you rub our MEA Sushma Swaraj the wrong way.
