‘Take MS Dhoni’s innings against Sri Lanka as a slap’, fans troll BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad on Twitter

Now that Dhoni has roared back into form, his fans got their opportunity to lambaste and bash the BCCI top brass

Former Indian captain, MS Dhoni, has silenced his critics in the best way possible, allowing his bat to do the talking. Before the start of the series, questions hovered over MS Dhoni’s future with respect to the 2019 cricket World Cup. BCCI Chief selector, MSK Prasad had made it clear that MS Dhoni could retain his place in the squad, only if his performance was worthy. MS Dhoni, played an incredible inning when India was pushed down by hosts and guided his team home in the 2nd One Day International against Sri Lanka. He stitched a partnership of 100 runs with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and he remained not out on 45*. That did not quench his undying thirst, as he went on to back up his match winning with another 61 unbeaten in the 3rd ODI, helping India take a 3-0 unassailable lead in the series.

Now that MS Dhoni has come back in form, it would be highly unlikely for him to miss out on the 2019 cricket World Cup. MS Dhoni, who has a huge fan base, did not like what the chief selector said. Now that Dhoni has roared back into form, his fans got their opportunity to lambaste and bash the BCCI top brass. Some of the troll tweets shot by his fans are ridiculous and show they are his die-hard fans.
