At the Singapore Super Series, where PV Sindhu lost to Carolina Marin, Sai Praneeth and Kidambi Srikanth made it to the finals in a world dominated majorly by Chinese players. Sai Praneeth of course went on to beat his compatriot Kidambi Srikanth. The scoreline was 17-21, 21-17, 21-12. So, it was a comprehensive win for the other Indian.Kidambi, who was the favourite to win the match, made a strong start as he sealed the first game 21-17 in 19 minutes. This is how Twitter reacted.
