Rohit Sharma hits Kane Richardson delivery outside stadium, Virat Kohli’s priceless reaction captured | Watch Video

Everyone present in the stadium kept on tracing the ball hit by Rohit Sharma up in the sky. On the other hand, skipper Virat Kohli was amazed and his reactions were priceless

Rohit Sharma failed to perform well in the first two ODIs against Australia but he is not one who remain silent for a long time. In the Indore ODI, he smashed the Australian bowling line-up while chasing a huge target of 294 runs on September 24. In the second innings, Rohit and Ajinkya Rahane gave a good start to the team and posted 74 runs in 11 overs. But ultimately, Rohit turned out to be the prime entertainer and completed his 33rd ODI fifty with a six. However, before reaching to his fifty with a mighty six, he did something which left the entire crowd staring at the sky.

In the 8th over of the second innings, Kane Richardson was the bowler who bowled a short delivery. Rohit Sharma moved down the crease and pulled the ball with all his power over the square-leg region. The ball went so high in the sky that it crossed the roof the stands and went out of the stadium.

Later, on the television, the length of the shot was recorded as 103 meters. Indeed it was a huge shot which left everybody stunned. Unfortunately, Rohit Sharma couldn’t take his inning beyond 71 runs as he was dismissed by Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Earlier today, Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. The Aussies had a superb start as their top-order performed phenomenally. Aaron Finch hit his second ODI ton against India while David Warner and skipper Steven Smith got their respective half-centuries. Soon after Smith’s dismissal, the middle order lost the run-scoring momentum and the Aussies could put 293 runs on the scoreboard after the end of 50 overs.
