Indian captain Virat Kohli on April 24 wished his role model and cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar on his 44th birthday in the most unique manner. Virat Kohli shared a video on his Twitter handle in which he can be seen singing ‘Happy Birthday Sachin Tendulkar’ song along with his fans in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently busy in mentoring Mumbai Indians team, celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake at the jam-packed Wankhede stadium during an Indian Premier League match between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant in Mumbai.

“Being 44 years is nice but I can’t believe I have turned 44,” Sachin said while cutting the cake.

Earlier today, ‘master blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar thanked his fans for their birthday messages. The little master took to his official Instagram account to upload a video thanking his millions of fans.

“Thank you very much for all the good wishes on my 44th birthday. So many guys have wished me and it means me a lot,” Sachin said in a video message.

Sachin, fondly called as the ‘God of Cricket’, played 200 Test and 463 ODI matches during his 24 year long career.

Sachin, who inspired millions to take up cricket as a profession, has scored 100 centuries, 51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs.  He holds several records under his name including of being the first batsman to score 200 runs (147 balls, 25 fours and 3 sixes) in an ODI.
