Watch: Virat Kohli has made a PROMISE to his RCB fans. Find out what

"Really humbled by all the love and support that we got this season. We will come back stronger next season...," Kohli tweeted

Virat Kohli is not someone who likes to lose, he wants to win at any cost, be it playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. This year has been a woeful year for Virat Kohli in IPL. RCB finished last, after having some of the biggest T20 names of the game in his side, the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat himself. They just won 3 matches, which is pathetic. Now, that he leaves for the ICC Champions Trophy to lead team India in a weeks time, he has a message for all his RCB supporters.

“Really humbled by all the love and support that we got this season. We will come back stronger next season…,” Kohli tweeted.

Kohli, remember had missed out the first leg of the season, owing to a shoulder injury he picked up during the Border-Gavaskar trophy and could not play the decider at Dharamsala. But even after he joined the team apart from a solitary fruitful innings he never got going. There was a match against KKR where chasing 131 they were bundled out for a paltry 49. On another occasion, they were folded below 100. Hence it was a dreadful tournament for the big names of the game.

Last year, the Indian captain was the highest run-getter in IPL 2016 with 973 runs. There are a lot of expectations from the Indian team as they will be starting as the defending champions.
