And finally, the Mumbai Indians franchise celebrated their association of 10 years with the summer cricket bonanza of India which is popularly known as the Indian Premier League (IPL). The two times champions of this tournament, Mumbai Indians organised a special function on April 10 in Mumbai.
In the celebration of “10 glorious years of Mumbai Indians”, the three legends of the team – Sachin Tendulkar, Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga and Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh were honoured for their precious and remarkable contribution towards the game of cricket.
In a recently published video on the official Facebook page of the Mumbai Indians team, numerous famous faces from both cricket and Bollywood were seen attending this program. The event was publicised using a hashtag #MI10 on the social media. Apart from the entire Mumbai Team, veteran cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Sri Lanka’s former skipper Sanath Jayasuriya, Ajay Jadeja, Anil Kumble, Sunil Gavaskar, Rohan Gavaskar and Shikhar Dhawan were seen attending the function while cricket experts Harsha Bhogle and Ayaz Memon were also present.

In the past 10 years, Reliance and its subsidiary Indiawin Sports Private Limited has taken care of few growing cricketers who have been a part of the Mumbai Indians. The list of players includes Ambati Rayudu, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav.
