IPL 2017, RPS v MI, preview: Will MI edge out RPS in the western derby?

Nitish Rana has been the find of this years IPL, what a player from no where has taken the scene by storm. He is a player to watch out for

RPS have had the better of Mumbai Indians first up in the tournament. They certainly would like to repeat the same. They have a Mahendra Singh Dhoni who has come back in form, that is massive news for RPS. Rahul Tripathi also showed glimpses that he belongs to this stage as he is not over-odd by situations.

For Rising Pune, Faf du Plessis batted extensively in the nets a day before the match but it’s hard to find an overseas player he could replace easily.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand have emerged as the team to beat, they have just lost one match. The Pandyas are clicking and all this without a significant contribution from their star batsman Rohit Sharma.

Rising Pune have a 2-1 win record against Mumbai including their match this season.
