Welcome to inUth’s live digital coverage of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017’s Match 22 between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Holker Stadium, Indore. Rohit Sharma’s side is currently in the third spot with 4 wins out of three games. Whereas, KXIP are struggling after winning two back-to-back games as they have suffered 3 straight losses. It is time for KXIP to make a comeback in IPL as they play at their home ground.

A lot will depend on the toss as Maxwell’s team has performed reasonably well when they have been chasing a total. Though, questions were raised on KXIP’s batting lineup with an exception of opener Manan Vohra who single-handedly changed the game on his own scoring 95 from 50 balls, taking his team on the doorstep of winning the game.

Their bowling has been doing well restricting the flow of runs in the powerplay overs. But, their death bowling has been under the radar as they have leaked runs, allowing the opposition to take the momentum with them as they come out to bat. Eoin Morgan has not performed the way he was supposed to in previous two games. KXIP have overseas players Martin Guptill, Darren Sammy, Marcus Stoinis and Matt Henry who can fill in for him.

MI side has been doing everything right after losing their first game against Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). After a series of single digit scores, their skipper Rohit too has made a comeback. Their batting has the firepower with Kieron Pollard playing in his prime. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya have starred for MI side performing with both bat and ball. Domestic sensation Nitish Rana too has struch a chord and been scoring well in the middle order.
