India vs South Africa 1st ODI: When and where to watch live telecast, live streaming

India will be looking to start the six-match ODI series with a win in Durban ODI

India vs South Africa 1st ODI Live Cricket Score:

South Africa may have been beaten in the Test series 2-1 but it is a different ball game altogether now. India are currently placed at No 2 in ICC ODI rankings and have a chance to dethrone South Africa from the top.

Quinton de Kock has been the X-factor for South Africa against India in the previous few years. The wicketkeeper-batsman has scored 4 centuries and 1 century in the 10 innings he has played against India. The visitors will be carrying forward the momentum after winning the third Test.

Virat Kohli-led Indian side have been in a good form in the shorter format of the game. The only conundrum he faces is the No 4 slot which is likely to be filled by Ajinkya Rahane for the first ODI.

On the other hand, South Africa will be missing AB de Villiers who is out of the side for the first three ODIs due to injury. In his absence, Faf du Plessis will be leading the team. Aiden Markram is expected to bat in lieu of De Villiers as he has been in form in the recently-concluded Test series.
