India vs England 2nd T20 Highlights: India wins by 5 runs, levels series by 1-1

Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the Man of the Match for his stunning bowling in the last over and his spell of 2 for 20 in four overs.

It began as a do or die situation for team India on January 29 as they have already lost the first game in Kanpur. And after a hilarious and power-packed T20 game between India and England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, India struck back and won the 2nd game of the Paytm T2o series by 5 runs. With this win, both the team has won 1 game each and will be playing the decider on February 1 at Bengaluru.

Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the Man of the Match for his stunning bowling in the last over and his spell of 2 for 20 in four overs.

After winning the toss, English Captain Eoin Morgan decided to field first and asked the Indians to bat. Just like the last game, skipper Kohli came in to open with KL Rahul and gave a soothing start in the initial overs. But he didn’t spend much time and was dismissed by Chris Jordan in the fifth over after he had scored 21.

The top scorer of the match was KL Rahul who stayed calm and played a classic inning while the wicket falling process was in continuation at the other end. Unfortunately, the Karnataka lad was sent back to the pavilion in the 18th over again by Chris Jordan.

The last over proved to be a massacre for the Indian Team as 3 wickets fell in the 2oth over. Rather that finishing the innings with a 6, MS Dhoni was bowled by Chris Jordan and England could successfully limit Indian side at a score of 144.

For England, Chris Jordan took the most wickets (3 for 22) while Mills, Moeen, and Rashid got 1 wicket each.

Now England came up to bat and chase the target of 145 runs in 2o overs. Despite a poor and slow start, England played very well in the mid overs but Then came Ashish Nehra who started damaging the batting line up. Nehra took 2 consecutive wickets in the first two balls of the 4th over and ruined the opening pair.

Joe Root and Jose Buttler tried their level best to wipe out the series from the Indian arms but the bowling attack did not allow then to do so. Both were dismissed at an individual score of 38.

The bowlers pick from the team was Ashish Nehra who was in form like the old days and picked 3 scalps after conceding just 28 runs in 4 overs.

Though English opponents have the chance to take it on their way in the death overs but then struck Jasprit Bumrah in the last over and hit the last nail in the coffin. He took 2 wickets in the 2oth over and gave just 3 runs and at last India won by 5 runs.
