When South Africa came out to bat against the host, New Zealand in the Third Test match at Hamilton, nobody knew that the cricket fans will witness one of the best catches taken in the game. New Zealand’s Tom Latham took an outstanding one-handed catch at short-leg to send South African skipper Faf du Plessis back to the pavilion.

During the 64th over of the first innings, Mitchell Santner bowled to Faf du Plessis, he played a paddle sweep but landed up losing his wicket to a breathtaking one-handed catch.

Tom Latham, who was struggling with his form on the field, has surely got a confidence booster.

South Africa made 314, and the black caps were 67 of no loss at Day 2 Stumps. Latham was unbeaten on 42.
