Virender Sehwag on Valentine’s day: Our (Viru-Aarti) love story is my favourite!

They had known each other for 17 years but it took 14 years for the romance to begin as they started dating only three years before getting married.

He always has an opinion, regardless the topic. On the field, he smashes the hell out of bowlers with disdain, that is Virender Sehwag for you.

The butcher of Najafgarh has niched a name for himself on the social galaxy. His comments and views do catch the attention of the people and he is also witty with them.

Valentine’s day is a day to celebrate love relationships, well the contrary argument to that is everyday should be a Valentine’s day, that is hyperbolic.

On the occasion of Valentine’s day, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to express his views on the day, his tweet read, “Every Love story is wonderful but Ours is my favourite.”

He also hash-tagged it with #ValentinesDay.

Great to see his love for his better half after so many years of marriage. Inspirational, on may say!

He always does this, even during his lovely wife Aarti’s birthday, the cricketer made sure he wished her.

The two also have a son named, Aaryavir.

According to reports, Virender Sehwag proposed to her way back in 2002.

They had known each  other for 17 years but it took 14 years for the romance to begin as they started dating only three years before getting married.

During an interview to ESPNCricinfo, Sehwag said,  “I found Aarti very simple and she understands everything. She knows how to carry herself. At times she becomes very emotional but that’s alright as it’s a part of her nature.I am very happy that I have married the woman I love”.

Hope the association holds strong for the rest of their lives.
