Virat Kohli’s gift to female English cricketer Danielle Wyatt who proposed him in 2014 gets her trolled on Twitter

Danielle Wyatt expressed her love for Indian skipper Virat Kohli more than three years ago, she thanked the Indian skipper for a precious gift

So, we all know Indian Skipper is in a happy space with Bollywood stunner, Anushka Sharma, but did you know that an England cricketer proposed to him back in 2014? Yes, it’s true! English cricketer Danielle Wyatt proposed to Indian skipper Virat Kohli way back, i.e. April 4, 2014 (to be precise), recently shared a picture of a gift from Virat but instead got criticised on Twitter. And the reason is trivial. Wyatt shared the photo of a cricket bat she received from Kohli but made a typographical error while writing Kohli’s name. Instead of ‘Virat Kohli’, she wrote ‘Virat Kholi’ and Twiterattis lost it.

Kohli gifted her the bat in 2014 during India’s long tour of England, and the same year, Danielle proposed to him. She had famously tweeted, Kholi, marry me! Wyatt is an all-rounder in England’s Women’s cricket team and an indispensable part of the side. The 26-year-old played in the World Cup winning squad which beat Mithali Raj-led Indian side by 11 runs at the Lord’s Cricket Ground this year.

After the Women World Cup 2017 triumph, Wyatt had a near-perfect season in Women’s T20 Super league while playing for Southern Vipers franchise. Her team was the runner-up of the tournament. Wyatt is currently training for the upcoming Ashes series.

Here’s Wyatt’s tweet that has gone viral on Twitter wherein she expressed her excitement to train with Kohli’s bat.

Back training this week. Can’t wait to use this beast Thanks @imVkohli #ping #middlesbiggerthanme pic.twitter.com/BknGjYx2Yj

Here are the reactions of Twitterati who spotted the typographical mistake.

Its “kohli”, not “kholi” (kholi in a native indian language means a room)

Remember when she tweeted “Kholi, marry me” it’s a deliberate inside joke!!

Did Virat gift you this bat with his name written incorrectly? Hmm

— Jnana (@kooldudej) September 11, 2017

Wyatt did not make this mistake for the first time. She did this while proposing to Kohli as well.

Kholi marry me!!!

— Danielle Wyatt (@Danni_Wyatt) April 4, 2014

Let’s hope she does not make the same mistake the next time around while posting something for her crush, Virat Kohli.
