After a wait of four long years, the Under 19 World Cup trophy has finally returned to India. Prithvi Shaw & Co showcased an all-around performance against Jason Sangha-led Australia and won the ICC U19 World Cup 2018 final on February 3. With this victory, India has scripted history by becoming the first nation to win most number U19 world cup titles.

In the final match at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, Sangha won the toss and elected to bat first. The Indian attack completely outclassed the Aussie batting line-up and bundled them up by 216 runs. Later, while chasing target, Manjot Kalra scored an emphatic 101-ball century while wicketkeeper Harvik Desai remained unbeaten on 47. India chased down the target in the 39th over and won the game by 8 wickets.
