Virat Kohli showers his love for the two strongest women in his life, his mother and love interest Anushka Sharma on International Women's Day

Virat Kohli has been vocal about his love for his mother and girlfriend Anushka Sharma. On International Women’s Day Kohli has a special message for the two most important women his life. Kohli posted a photo of his mother and Anushka combined with a beautiful message for them on Instagram. The message was not just directed to his mother and girlfriend, but to every woman.

The photo caption said, “Happy women’s day to every woman out there, but especially to the two strongest women in my life. My mom (mother) for looking after the family in toughest times in life and Anushka Sharma for fighting against the odds regularly and standing up for righteousness and changing the norms”.

Kohli thanked his mother for all the love his mother showers on him and how he gets him and his family through tough times. He expressed his feelings for his girlfriend as well as she continued to support him through thick and thin. She has been under media scrutiny and a topic for trolls many times when Kohli could not deliver with the bat.

Recently, Kohli expressed his love for Anushka Sharma on Valentine’s Day as well with the caption reading, “Everyday is a valentine day if you want it to be. You make every day seem like one for me”.

Kohli is in high spirits after India made a miraculous comeback in the second Test at Bengaluru against Australia. India won the 2nd Test by 75 runs as they succeeded in levelling the series by 1-1.

He was pretty aggressive in the field on Day 4 after Steven Smith and Peter Handscomb had a ‘brainfade’ moment on the field, trying to cheat as they signalled the support staff for help in whether to take DRS or not.
