Kohli & Anushka Just Won Our Hearts By Giving Their Business Class Seats To Fast Bowlers

Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma celebrate their first wedding anniversary today

Indian skipper Virat Kohli really knows how to take care of his players. After a historic win at Adelaide on December 10, Kohli lauded his bowlers for outclassing the home side. On Team India’s way to the next destination for the second Test, Kohli along with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma decided to give his business class seats to two Indian fast bowlers.

The news was verified by former England skipper Michael Vaughan who has been covering India’s tour of Australia 2018-19 on Twitter for Fox Sports. Though we are not really sure which two seamers were given the seats. In economy class, leg space is an issue. We reckon the power couple gave their seats to Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami.

Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches #AUSvIND

Here’s how Twitterverse reacted to Kohli’s gesture towards his bowlers:

This is why we can’t judge Virat only based on his on ground celebrations. Great human being

He shows attitude only on pitches, he is a great human being from inside

Carrying on the legacy

Exactly what Dhoni did for his pace operators during 2015 WC. Now that’s what we call some legacy and a true torch bearer. This Indian team is different.

There were many who questioned why Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not arrange for business class seats for everyone. Vaughan in another tweet clarified that there were only 12 business class seats available on the flight.

The duration of flight from Adelaide to Perth is 3 hours 20 minutes long (approximately). Well, the Indian skipper does need his fast bowlers fit for the Perth Test which is one of the most bouncy pitches in the world. Maybe that’s his way of showing gratitude towards his players for all the hard work they put in for five days.
