India v Australia: Steve Smith ushered praise on Peter Handscomb and Shaun Marsh for the 'resilience' they showed in the middle to draw the Test

Australian skipper and world number one batsman Steven Smith who has hardly put a foot wrong in the ongoing series against India has ushered praise on Peter Handscomb and Shaun Marsh for the ‘resilience’ they showed in the middle to draw the Ranchi Test. It has to be said this was one of the best Test matches played in recent past. The world got to witness one of the best contests between the bat and the ball. As the series is still alive and kicking at 1-1 as both teams head north to Dharamshala for round four of this epic clash.

In a way they did what Cheteshwar Pujara and Wriddhiman Saha did for the hosts, though the scenario’s were different. Handscomb and Marsh have given other foreign countries a lesson as to how to combat Indian conditions and their spinners.
