Sattire! Ashwin mocks Brad Hodge’s apology, touts it as ‘World apology Day’

India vs Australia: Brad Hodge had apparently accused the Indian captain Virat Kohli of skipping the deciding Dharamsala Test because of his IPL commitments

He was asking for it, wasn’t he? Brad Hodge, who is also the head coach of Gujarat Lions. Well, this was on the cards, knowing he will be residing in India for the Indian Premier League. He will have to travel the length and breath of the country during the 2-month long tournament. He had apparently accused the Indian captain Virat Kohli of skipping the deciding Dharamsala Test because of his IPL commitments.

Hodge had said that if it was not a serious injury, then the Indian captain should have played the Dharamsala Test, especially knowing that the four-match series was deadlocked at 1-1.

How can someone be so double-faced, strange!

On a message on social media, Ashwin said, “On a lighter note, from this year onwards 30th march will be remembered as world apology day”

Hodge we get to learn from close sources that he will be joining the Gujarat franchisee from the 1st of March. Knowing the sarcastic Ravichandran Ashwin we knew this was coming.

The tweaker, who collected the Garfield Sobers Trophy for his brilliant home season had also tweeted earlier complementing Tamil Nadu Cricket Association saying, “Extremely proud of what @TNCACricket has achieved this year. There can’t be a more happier person than me, and champion stuff.”

In a weeks time, loyalties will change as they get split and will now be vying to lift the IPL crown.
