Rohit Sharma loses wicket to Kagiso Rabada again, brutally trolled on Twitter

Kagiso Rabada dismissed Rohit Sharma in this tour for the sixth time. Rohit averages 10 in this ODI series, which is his lowest as an opener.

Rohit Sharma, the ‘hitman’ of the Indian cricket team, seems to be running out of options when it comes to facing Kagiso Rabada’s bowling attack. Right from the beginning of India vs South Africa Test series, Rabada has outclassed Rohit and this saga continued in the ODI series as well. In the 4th ODI at the Wanderers in Johannesburg, the star Indian opener started off well but soon his innings came to an end. Once again the Protea speedster bamboozled Rohit and he gave away his wicket in the initial overs.

The incident happened in the last ball of the 4th over when Rabad bowled a length bowl to Rohit which he tried to defend. The bat face turned up a bit and the ball was scooped back towards the bowler. Rabada bent really low and took a stunning catch to dismiss Rohit for the sixth time in this entire series.

Soon after Rohit’s dismissal, the cricket fans seemed really unhappy and trolled the 30-year-old cricketer through hilarious memes and posts on Twitter. Here are some of those tweets:

This was also the fourth occasion when Rohit was caught and bowled by a bowler. Moreover, he averages 10 in this ODI series, which is his lowest in any series/tournament since he began opening in 2013.
