Rashid Khan bowled a peach of a delivery to get Sri Lankan cricketer Dilshan Munaweera's wicket and shatter the middle stump

Rashid Khan is one of the best leg spinners in the world. The 19-year-old is one of the promising players of Afghanistan cricket and it is visible because of the interest of franchises in the leagues across the world. Rashid displayed another example of his leg spin in a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 clash between Chittagong Vikings and Comilla Victorians. The leggie deceived the Sri Lankan batsman Dilshan Munaweera with a googly.

Munaweera tried going on the back foot and play the ball towards deep midwicket but missed it completely. The ball hit the top of the middle stump but as the camera zoomed in it was clearly visible that the stump has been broken.

Rashid seemed quite surprised that the stump was broken as incidents like these only happen when a fast bowler is bowling. The on-field Umpire quickly signalled for a change of stump.

Munaweera got out for 19. The right-handed batsman was struggling to score freely as he played 25 balls but was able to hit only one boundary. He scored at a strike rate of 76 which is below par as far as T20 cricket is concerned.

Rashid bowled an economical spell of 1 for 17 in his quota of four overs. He was the most economical of the lot with an economy rate of 4.25 runs per over. Another Afghan bowler Mohammad Nabi bowled well picking up the wicket of Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar. Nabi gave just 19 runs in 3 overs bowling at an economy rate of 6.33 runs per over.

As a result Vikings could only score 139 for 4 in 20 overs which was chased down by Victorians with 11 balls to spare. Victorians won the match by 6 wickets.
