Netflix Has Announced A Documentary Series On Mumbai Indians & We Are Super Excited

Most IPL fans will agree that of all the teams in tournament, Mumbai Indians have the most filmi track record.  They start very poorly, manage to qualify somehow and go on to win the tournament in a dramatic style like a masala Bollywood movie. The team’s success has all the ingredients for a blockbuster movie. Netflix clearly saw the dramatic potential of this and  has decided to release a docu-series on the team’s journey on the top.

Over the years, the franchise has groomed players like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and others who have gone on to play for India at the highest level. The eight-part docu-series will cover the team’s journey on the road and never-seen-before footage.

The series streams on Netflix on March 1. Finally, the fans of the much-loved franchise will get to see players’ emotions after wins and losses. It is expected that
