MS Dhoni pulls off SLOWEST stumping to take Jason Holder’s wicket, Kuldeep Yadav applauds it | Watch Video

Kuldeep Yadav lures West Indies skipper Jason Holder down the track but bowls a googly, creating an easy stumping chance for Kuldeep Yadav

India’s first ever Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets in the match where he bowled for the first time in ODIs. Kuldeep baited Jason Holder into an advanced shot as he shimmied down the wicket. But, Holder was fooled by the flight of the ball as he played a pre-meditated shot. Holder got outsmarted by the googly as it turned away from the right-handed batsman. MS Dhoni caught hold of the ball from outside the offstump. Dhoni tried to mock Holder as he waited for him to try to make his ground, he waited until Holder turned back but teased him by not taking the bails off the stumps.

As Holder realised that he would not be able to get back into the crease, Dhoni finally took the bails off, probably pulling off the slowest stumping he has ever done. Yadav applauded effort as well. Dhoni usually takes the bails off in a flash and pulls off unbelievable stumpings.

India outclassed West Indies in the second ODI which was reduced to 43 overs per side due to rain early on in the morning. India won convincingly by 105 runs as they put on a mammoth total of 310 for 5, their 96th 300-plus score, a world record. Ajinkya Rahane scored a century whereas skipper Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan scored half-centuries.

Kuldeep did not get to bowl in his debut match as it was abandoned due to rain after 39.2 overs were bowled. Rain threat was looming over the second ODI as well but despite weather forecast showing rain threats almost throughout the day, a rain-curtailed second ODI could happen. Kuldeep got into the side in place of Ravindra Jadeja who got involved in a blunder run out with Hardik Pandya in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final.
