Mitchell Johnson to Glenn Maxwell, cricketers who congratulated Australia for reclaiming the Ashes

The 4th Test takes place on December 26 in Melbourne

Australia finally reclaimed the Ashes beating England by an innings and 41 runs. Australia has already taken a 3-0 lead, which means they have already sealed the Ashes with two Tests to go. It was a collective performance by the hosts that ensured such an emphatic victory. England had won the Ashes in their backyard in 2015, beating Australia 3-2. Hence, Australia’s win invited congratulatory messages to pour in from all corners. The Australian cricketers were seen leading the bandwagon, with a couple of former English cricketers joining in too.

Dawid Malan fought hard for 54 to add to his first-innings 140, but an Australian victory seemed only a matter of time. Hazlewood completed his first Ashes five-wicket haul, exploiting the conditions effectively, and England was dismissed for 218 before tea.
