Kamran Akmal scored the first 150 of his career in T20 cricket and scored more than 70 percent runs of Lahore Whites' innings

Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt pulled off something which has never been achieved in T20 cricket. They shared a record-breaking partnership of 209 from 120 balls in a National T20 Cup game between Lahore Whites and Islamabad. The previous record was held by Kent cricket club’s Joe Denly and Daniel Bell-Drummond (207 runs) which they achieved on August 17, 2017. Akmal-Butt also have the third highest partnership in T20s. The top two are occupied by Royal Challengers Bangalore duo Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (229 and 215*).

It was Akmal who dominated Islamabad bowlers right through the innings. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored his first 150 of T20 career. His innings was studded with 14 fours and 12 sixes. He got to his century in the 16th over. The 35-year-old scored at a strike rate of 211.26.
