Putting an end to all speculation, Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, tied the knot with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in Tuscany, Italy, on December 11. The ceremony, which was a private affair, was held at Borgo Finocchieto, a heritage villa in Tuscany. It was attended by the families and close friends of both. As per media reports, their wedding reception will be held in New Delhi, on December 21.
Both Virat and Anushka took to their respective Twitter handles to share pictures of their wedding ceremony.

On November 8, Anushka and her family were photographed at the airport, with several news reports claiming they were headed to Italy for a private wedding ceremony. A priest was also spotted travelling with Sharma’s family. Later, reports trickled in that Virat and his family too were seen at Delhi airport on Thursday night.
Rumours of Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar receiving invitations to the much-awaited wedding did the rounds, even as the couple gave us no official confirmation of their plans.
Ahead of the final India vs Sri Lanka test match in Delhi, complaining of a hectic schedule, Virat asked for a break. It was said that keeping India’s South Africa tour in mind, the BCCI gave him leave, and he was not included in the squad for the ODIs and T20s against Sri Lanka.
Wedding rumours, however, intensified as soon as it was confirmed that Kohli was taking a break . Anushka’s spokesperson had rubbished reports back then, saying that there was “absolutely no truth to it”.
