IPL 2018 KXIP vs MI, Match 34: Krunal’s Knock Overshadows Gayle’s Fifty, MI Win

IPL 2018 KXIP vs MI, Match 34: Mumbai Indians win this game against the Kings XI Punjab, successfully keep their chances alive in this tournament

The league of cricket fanatics enjoyed the Kings XI Punjab’s comeback after the break as Universe Boss smashed third fifty in this season and fulfilled the wishes of his fans. On the other hand, it was a do or die situation for the Mumbai Indians (MI) who needed to win this game to remain alive in the tournament. The efforts of KXIP batters resulted in putting a total of 174 runs in 20 overs.

In return, the Mumbai openers gave a flying start to the team. With their fiery knocks, they stated that they won’t let it go so easily. Despite early shocks, Surya Kumar Yadav and the Pandya brothers fought till the end and snatched the victory from the mouth of the opponents. A smoky knock from Krunal Pandya (31 runs off 12 balls) towards the end left no option for Ashwin & Co but to accept the defeat tonight.

MI pulled out a terrific victory by 6 wickets and earned two more points in this season.
