IPL 2018: Harshal Patel Hits 3 Sixes Off DJ Bravo, Twitterati Call Him Better Than Hardik Pandya

IPL 2018 DD vs CSK: Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and he invited Delhi Daredevils to bat first in the dead rubber

Delhi Daredevils (DD) bowling-all rounder Harshal Patel left the cricket world stunned after he smashed three sixes off Chennai Super Kings bowler Dwayne Bravo in the last over during Match Number 52 of the Indian Premier League season 2018 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on May 18.

Patel, who came to bat following the dismissal of Abhishek Sharma in the 15th over of Delhi’s innings, smashed CSK bowlers all around the park as he scored unbeaten 36 off just 16 balls including 1 four and 4 huge sixes.

With this knock, Patel helped his team to post competitive 162/5 score on the board.

Impressed with Patel’s fearless knock against CSK’s bowling line-up, Twitterati praised the DD batsman by calling him better than Mumbai Indian’s all-rounder Hardik Patel. Here are some of the reactions:

Harshal Patel is a real competition to Hardik Pandya now ! #DDvCSK

In fight of allrounders, Shankar is lot better than Hardik Pandya.

And Harshal Patel is hell lot better than Shankar but not better than Pandya.

Besides Patel, Vijay Shankar too impressed with his bat as he remained unbeaten on 36 off 28 balls he faced.

For DD, Rishabh Pant top scored with 38.

Earlier, CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and he invited Delhi to bat first in the dead rubber.

Already out of contention for the play-offs, Delhi made two changes by bringing back Glenn Maxwell and Avesh Khan in place of Jason Roy and Junior Dala.

Chennai, on the other hand, made just one change by including pacer Lungi Ngidi in place of David Willey.
