The Sri Lankan Cricket Team is going to play on a seven-week tour of India that will comprise three Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 Internationals

Just a month ago, Virat Kohli-led Team India whitewashed the Sri Lankans in a bilateral series comprising three Tests, five ODIs, and one T20I at the island nation. Now it’s Sri Lanka’s turn to visit India for another series which will kick-start in the month of November. The neighbours are going to play in a seven-week tour of India that will comprise three Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 Internationals. The series will commence from November 16 and will conclude on December 24.

In the recently concluded India’s tour of Sri Lanka, the Men in Blue didn’t give a single chance to the home team to dominate. The Indian side won the 3-Test rubber by 3-0, 5-match series by 5-0 as well as the one-off T20I. After the series defeat, Sri Lanka’s direct qualification for the World Cup 2019 was under threat. However, West Indies losing to England in the 5-match bilateral ODI series by 4-0 made the place for the Lankans without them having to appear for the qualifiers.
