10 UNIQUE records broken by Virat Kohli’s team India in T20I against Sri Lanka!

India did not lose a single match in Sri Lanka and made it a 9-0 sweep, which is staggering, considering the long season that lies ahead of them

Virat Kohli-led team India sealed the one-off T20I and in the process, shattered a lot of records. India did not lose a single match in Sri Lanka in all three formats and achieved a staggering 9-0 sweep. In the one-off T20I, Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey steered India to a decisive victory, without putting up a lot of effort. But, it was an all round effort that again helped India win the match. Chahal proved why he was highly rated in the shortest format, finishing with 3/43.

Now that the series is over, Team India will hardly have any time for rest, as they take on the mighty Australians in just 10 days time. Their splendid performance in Sri Lanka should give them a lot of confidence, which will help them when they lock horns against Australia.

5. Virat Kohli becomes the first player in T20I’s to score 4 consecutive 50+ scores, against Australia and Sri Lanka.

6. Virat Kohli went past Martin Guptill's tally of 1806 runs to become the third highest run-getter in T20Is.

7. Virat Kohli became the second player to score 1000+ runs while chasing in T20Is after Brendon McCullum.

9. Kohli and Manish Pandey's 109 run partnership is the highest for India while chasing in T20Is.

10. India is the only visiting team to whitewash home team in all the three formats of a single tour.
