India vs Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, Day 4 Live Streaming: Watch Live Telecast on Sony Six, Sony Ten 3 and Live Streaming on SonyLIV

India have a chance to unsettle the Sri Lankan batting lineup in the first session itself, the old ball might do a few tricks early on

The 2nd Test took an interesting turn on Day 3, especially in the second and third session as Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis used the you-attack-i-defend technique to unsettle Indian bowlers. Mendis did his work and got out in a bizarre fashion whereas Karunaratne is still holding on alongside Night Watchman Malinda Pushpakumara. It was frustrating for Indian bowlers on Day 3 as they were for the first time in the series forced to work hard for their wickets. On Day 4 they will once again be looking to pull off a performance to that of the first session on Day 3.

Sri Lanka are still trailing by 230 runs which mean that a minor batting collapse can take them to defeat and to by an innings. Their first motive will be to avoid an inning defeat. The longer they stay at the wicket, the anxious Indian skipper Virat Kohli will get and will try to devise strategies every now and then.

Karunaratne is nearing his century as he is batting on 92 from 200 balls. He is doing a similar job to Cheteshwar Pujara who hung around for a while and got India back in the game on Day 1 of the Colombo Test.
