Twitterati TROLL Virender Sehwag over his ‘Darji’ comment on Ross Taylor

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag was a belligerent batsman in his days and now he is an active Twitter user, but he still possesses a sharp wit. His tweets are often eye-catching and sarcastic. Virender Sehwag made a statement on Ross Taylor on October 22 after New Zealand beat India by 6 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match One Day International series. It was Ross Taylor, along with Tom Latham, who guided the Kiwis to a memorable win at the Wankhede Stadium. Taylor was finally dismissed when the Blackcaps had almost sealed the win. He was out for 96. Latham, on the other hand, remained not out on 103. This win will surely give Blackcaps the confidence to counter the Indian spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in the middle overs, something the Australians failed to do.

But Virender Sehwag, being the person he is could not resist himself from making a quirky comment on the visiting batsman. He took to his Twitter account and congratulated Ross Taylor on playing well and then went on to call him ‘Darji’ (An Indian term used to call tailors).

To this statement of Virender Sehwag, Twitter reacted and some of the replies were funny as well.
