India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI Highlights: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's record-breaking centuries and Chahal-Bumrah's bowling helps India win the series

Indian bowlers, especially Jasprit Bumrah held his nerve in the death overs and provided India with crucial wickets and eventually the hosts won the match by 6 runs. India win their 7th consecutive ODI bilateral series win on the trot as New Zealand failed to make history at Kanpur in the decider. Earlier Colin Munro got New Zealand off to a fiery start and was supported by skipper Kane Williamson. Yuzvendra Chahal turned the game on his own in middle overs. Ross Taylor and Henry Nicholls supported Tom Latham towards the end overs but Bumrah brought India back into the game. In the end India emerged victoriously in the final as the hosts seal the series by 2-1.

India put on a mammoth total on the board for New Zealand to chase down and create history at Kanpur. Rohit Sharma scored 147 from 138 deliveries whereas Virat Kohli scored 113 runs from 106 balls and put on a partnership of 230 runs for the second wicket after Shikhar Dhawan got out early. Hardik Pandya could not make the most of the opportunity and got out to Mitchell Santner. MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav scored at brisk rate in the death overs and took India to a challenging total for the Kiwis to chase.

TOSS RECORD: 8 of the 15 ODI’s at Kanpur have resulted in the team winning the toss, fielding first. Yet on just 3 occasions has it yielded a win.
