Ashish Nehra to retire soon, Twitter turns HELL emotional!

Nehra certainly was popular these tweets prove just that

Ashish Nehra has been an age-old warhorse for Indian cricket and is now set to retire. He is 38 and has returned to the Indian cricket team after a layoff of about a couple of years due to injury. Now, we get to hear that Ashish Nehra is all set to throw in the towel. In fact, if some top-notch journalists are supposed to be believed, he is retiring from all forms of the game, even IPL. In the IPL, he is a key member of the Sunrisers Hyderabad outfit, but it seems he will not take part in that as well.

With ICC not slotting any World T20 in 2018, Nehra apparently told the team management that it is only fair that performing juniors have a longer rope. Setting the standards high and showing us that he is a true team player.

Nehra in a way epitomises the ‘never give up’ attitude. He has made a lot of comebacks and has finally taken this call. Nehra is in the T20I Indian team for the Australian series but has not got a game. The grapevine has it has, he is retiring on November 1, after the New Zealand series.

With this decision coming to light, it seems it has dejected his fans, who want more of him.

Here are the tweets from his fans.

We’ll miss you and your airplane celebration, #NehraJi!

Nehra has so far played 17 Tests, 120 ODIs and 26 T20 Internationals for the country. He has picked 44 Test wickets, besides 157 ODI and 34 T20 scalps.

Nehra has been a part of the 2011 cricket World Cup winning team India. That could be his biggest moment and would be etched in the memory of fans.
