Pakistani journo MOCKS Hardik Pandya on being compared to Ben Stokes!

It is strange that the Pakistani journo has made such a comment. Just one question weren't Pakistan scared of Pandya in the Champions Trophy

It seems the Pakistani media is in ‘awe’ of India’s latest cricketing sensation Hardik Pandya. A Pakistani journalist has taken a dig at Indian media for comparing Hardik Pandya to England’s Ben Stokes. Well, in the past at a press conference Virat Kohli had said that Hardik Pandya could play the same role that Ben Stokes does for England. Both the cricketers do similar kind of job for their respective teams. Pandya can bowl and be the third seamer for their team and the get those cameo knocks for his side at the dead end of the innings like Ben Stokes does for the English side.

The Pakistani journalist who took a dig at the Indian all-rounder is Fazeela Saba. She is one of the few who is yet to be impressed by Pandya’s exploits, as she took to Twitter to give her views on him being compared to Stokes. A tweet she posted read, “Pandy (Pandya) undoubtedly is the upcoming multitasked player in cricket but his comparison with Ben Stokes by Indian media seems unjustified.”

Fazeela happens to be a sports journalist, working for PTV Sports.

Earlier, during the first One Day International against Australia, India won by 26 runs in a match truncated by rain. India was in trouble at a certain stage, when they were tottering at 87 for 5. That is when Hardik Pandya and Mahendra Singh Dhoni steadied the proceedings to take India to a respectable total, setting a target of 281 for Australia to chase. Pandya was the highest scorer with 83 off 66 balls. He also smashed Zampa for a hat-trick of sixes.

Australia had to chase 164 off 21 overs but failed to do so as India won the match by 26 runs. Chahal was the pick of the bowlers as he had bagged 3 wickets.
