Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was awarded as te Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his phenomenal performance with the ball throughout the series.

The third and the decider T20 match international game played between India and England at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, gave happiness to numerous cricket fans across the nation after India beats England by a huge margin of 75 runs.

Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was awarded as the Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his phenomenal performance with the ball and especially for his today’s spell of 6-25.

Like the previous two games, India once again lost the toss and was asked to bat first by the English captain, Eoin Morgan. Both the teams went on the ground with a motive to clinch the game and tried their best to do so.

Once again skipper Kohli went to open the inning with KL Rahul and it was expected that the duo would turn the bowlers down with their strokes as they did phenomenally well in the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League while playing for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. But unfortunately, the duo couldn’t survive more than an over and skipper Kohli was run out at the 7th ball of the game being at the non-striker’s end.

Suresh Raina came in at number 3rd and then he started charging the English bowlers with bis batting skills. Playing an inning of 45 balls, Raina smashed 63 runs which included 2 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from Raina, the former captain MS Dhoni also didn’t feel much shy of scoring and played in his classic style to score his first fifty in the T20 internationals. Dhoni played just 36 balls and he smashed 56 runs with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes.

Other than Raina and Dhoni, Yuvraj came to bat today at number 5 and scored 27 runs in just 10 balls. With all these potentially strong knocks, team India comfortably managed to put a score of 202 runs on the scoreboard and set a target of 203 runs forEngland to chase.

While the English side began struggling from the very first over in which just 1 run was scored and which was delivered by Ashish Nehra. England also had an initial loss in the form of Sam Billings who went for a golden duck.

After the dismissal of Sam Billings, the other opener, Jason Roy, failed to be on the crease for long and was sent back to the pavilion by Amit Mishra. After losing two wickets, Captain Eoin Morgan and Joe Root tried their best to control the innings and scored 40 and 42 runs respectively until Chahal gulped them both.

Chahal confounded England with his clever variation and changes in length. The googly was a weapon that was judiciously used. The youngster accounted for England captain Eoin Morgan, ending a 64-run third wicket stand, Joe Root was then trapped plumb in front of the stumps while Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes succumbed to the ever-growing asking rate by holing out in the deep. From 119 for 2 in the 13th over, England had fallen devastatingly to 127 for 7 before Chris Jordan stepped out mindlessly to send Chahal to sixth heaven. Jasprit Bumrah helped himself to three wickets himself as England lost their last eight wickets for eight runs in 18 deliveries to crash to an embarrassing defeat.

After their dismissal, the entire team was dismissed for 8 more runs and finally, India won another series against England, in the past 3 months, by 3-0. Hard luck for England that they have to return their country empty handed.

These victories, in the test, ODI and T20, proved to be an excellent example of cricket by the team India under the captaincy of Virat Kohli when hardly 2 months are left for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
