ICC Men’s ODI & Test Team of the Year announced, Virat Kohli to lead both star-studded sides

While selecting the sides, the panel also took into consideration player statistics as well as key game-changing performances during the voting period

So, the cat is finally out of the bag!

ICC has finally announced the Men’s ODI & Test teams of the year. The best performances by cricketers in both the formats in 2017 have been taken into account and the teams are out. After performing spectacularly in both the formats in 2017, Indian captain Virat Kohli has been made the captain of both the teams.

India as a team has had a memorable 2017 and three players in both the squads is a testament to that fact. The ODI squad includes Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli and the Test squad includes Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin. Virat Kohli is a part of both the teams.

The ODI side comprises of players from seven countries, namely Afghanistan (Rashid Khan), Australia (Warner), England (Ben Stokes), India (Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah), New Zealand (Trent Boult) Pakistan (Babar Azam and Hasan Ali) and South African (AB de Villiers and de Kock).
