ICC Latest Test Rankings: Warner rises to 6th spot, Rahul slips to 10th, Rahane out of top 10

Ajinkya Rahane though played well in the recently concluded Test series against Sri Lanka, Warner's upliftment caused his downgrade

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ranking of the Test batsmen. Unfortunately, Indian batsman, Ajinkya Rahane slipped out from the top 10 ranking while Australian opener David Warner is back in the top 10 list by moving up five places from the eleventh position to sixth. Warner’s century in the ongoing Bangladesh vs Australia Test series helped him improving his ranking. It was his 19th Test century, however, his knock of 112 went in vain after the Bangla hosts won the game by 20 runs.

Warner’s ascend resulted to Ajinkya Rahane’s exit from the top 10 list after a long period of time. Though he played well in the recently concluded Test series against Sri Lanka, Warner’s upliftment caused his downgrade. However, he will be eyeing on the upcoming Sri Lanka’s tour to India later this year before Tem India leaves for South Africa.
