ICC World Cup 2019 Schedule: Indian Cricket Team will open their campaign on June 5 against South Africa at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on April 26 announced the schedule of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which will be held in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.

Indian Cricket Team led by Virat Kohli will open their campaign on June 5 against South Africa at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton.

Besides South Africa, the Indian team will face England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies, Australia and New Zealand

The Indian team will face their arch-rivals Pakistan at Old Trafford in Manchester on 16 June.

9 June – India v Australia (d), The Oval, London
13 June – India v New Zealand (d), Trent Bridge, Nottingham

22 June – India v Afghanistan (d), Hampshire Bowl, Southampton
27 June – Windies v India (d), Old Trafford, Manchester
30 June – England v India (d), Edgbaston, Birmingham

Team India lifted ICC Cricket World Cup trophy in 1983 and 2011.

The tournament opener will be played at The Oval on May 30 between England and South Africa.
