Ashish Nehra’s international cricket career has finally come to an end after the first India vs New Zealand T20I at the Feroz Shah Kotla on November 1. In the last 10 years, it was the first time that the men in blue defeated the Kiwis in the quickest format of international cricket. With this victory, Nehra got the perfect farewell at his home ground. Probably, there was no better way to say goodbye to the game which earned him name and fame in the last 18 years.

In his last match against New Zealand, Nehra bowled a total of 4 overs. The 38-year-old veteran pacer 29 runs however, a few missed catches couldn’t let him take wickets. The last over was delivered by him when the Kiwis needed 61 from 6 balls. While bowling the last ball as a member of the Indian cricket team, Nehra turned emotional which was clearly visible on his face. The crowd cheered for him while people from cricket and film fraternity wished him on social media for his bright future.
