England Forward Harry Kane Draws Inspiration From Young Ben’s Fight Against Brain Tumour

The power of Twitter proved once again

England are to play Sweden in the quarter-finals of FIFA World Cup 2018 and #itscominghome is already trending on Twitter already. But young Ben has already lifted the trophy. Ben has been diagnosed with brain tumour after undergoing six weeks of radiotherapy. Ben asked for the World Cup trophy a week before his therapy began. He looked elated to receive the trophy and posed for a photo as well.

Liam Herbert, one of the Specialist Pediatric Radiographer posted the video of Ben’s felicitation on his Twitter account. He even tagged England’s star forward Harry Kane in his tweet.

Ben has just completed his #radiotherapy for a #braintumour, he was unable to walk and talk before his treatment but a week ago he asked for the World Cup, so we delivered. @England and @HKane can you do the same? #cancer #threelions #ChildhoodCancer #nhs70 #Itscomminghome pic.twitter.com/En8TtKnVnG
