Indian Tennis sensation, Sania Mirza seems much excited about this game as his husband and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik who will be playing 250th ODI of his career

After India vs South Africa match on June 12, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are going to lock horns in another crucial face-off which will decide the semi-finalist from Group B. Both Sri Lanka and Pakistan have 2 points each in their accounts and today’s game will decide their fate in this tournament. The winner will move ahead while the loser will pack bags and return home. Meanwhile, Indian Tennis sensation, Sania Mirza seems much excited about this game as his husband and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik who will be playing 250th ODI of his career.

Ahead of this crucial game, Sania has reached England where the tournament is going on. She wished her husband for the success and praised his achievement. The official Facebook page of Pakistan Cricket Team shared a video where Sania could be seen congratulating her husband on his achievement. She said,”It’s a proud moment for all of us. His mother, brother, sisters and myself are proud of him. It shows the commitment to his team and his game. I have always known him as someone with full of passion for cricket and for representing his country.”

She also revealed that how they keep in touch through the phone as being athletes, they hardly find time to spend with each other. She said,”The phone really helps us to get connected. We spend a lot of time apart. Sometimes our schedules match and I had this week off, instead of going back to India or Dubai, I came here.”

Shoaib Malik, the former skipper of Pakistan, has been playing for the country for last 18 years. He has represented Pakistan in 249 ODI games and the virtual quarter-final against Sri Lanka will be his 250th. In all 249 games, Malik has scored 6742 runs with an average of over 35 and have successfully taken 153 wickets so far.
