A Pakistani media house on June 18 aired a show titled 'Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga' in which an anchor named Amir Liaqat used foul language for former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor

In an example of irresponsible, poor and vengeful journalism, a Pakistani media house on June 18 aired a show titled ‘Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga’ in which an anchor named Amir Liaqat used foul language for former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor and well known news personality in India, Arnab Goswami after Pakistan lifted their maiden ICC Champions Trophy by thrashing arch-rivals India by 180 runs in the final match of the cricket tournament at the Oval in London.

In a video, uploaded by PK Tv Talk Shows on video sharing site You Tube titled “Amir Liaqat Blasting Message To SEHWAG, RISHI KAPOOR, VIRAT KOHLI Pakistan India Final 18 June 2017,” anchor Amir Liaqat can be seen using improper language as he was ‘overexcited’ after Pakistan register a mammoth victory over India. He was acting like they had won the war battle.

This was the first ever Champions Trophy title for Pakistan. The south Asian nation claimed their third ICC tournament, having earlier won the 50-over World Cup in 1992 and the World Twenty20 in 2009.

Put in to bat, Pakistan rode on a century by opener Fakhar Zaman to post a massive total of 338/4 in the allotted 50 overs. For India, pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and spinner Kedar Jadhav took one wicket each.

In reply, India were all out for 158 runs in 30.3 overs. For Pakistan, pacers Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali bagged three wickets each.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya was the highest scorer among the Indians with 76 runs from 43 balls.

After the victory, Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed hailed his side’s character and belief. “After the India (group) match I said to my boys, the tournament is not finished yet. I told them trust their talent. We played very well and now we have won the final,” Sarfraz said.

“We played like we had nothing to lose, now we are champions. It’s a very proud moment for me and my country, and thanks to the nation for supporting us,” the wicket-keeper added.

Meanwhile, Indian captain Virat Kohli praised the Pakistani side and said that their players were more intense and passionate in the final which also helped them outplay the India team in every department of the game.
