India vs Pakistan Final, ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Fakhar Zaman’s monstrous batting rips Indian bowling apart. Twitter reacts!

After hitting 3 huge sixes and 12 fours, Fakhar ended up scoring 114 runs off 106 balls before he was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the 34th over

The Indian cricket fans turned out the happiest when skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl first. The people present in the stadium started cheering as if India has already won the game. It was speculated that the Indian bowlers will get through the Pak batsmen as soon as possible and there would be an easy target to chase. But the way youngster Fakhar Zaman batted at the fresh pitch of the Oval in London, it was totally unexpected. It all seemed as if the Indian cricket team prepared for Pakistan’s bowling attack but Zaman came out of the syllabus. Later Pakistan ended up scoring 338/4 by the end of 50 overs.

Team India had a chance to get rid of this destruction if Jasprit Bumrah hadn’t overstepped the crease in the 4th over. The ball kissed Fakhar’s bat and then landed safely in the gloves of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The players started celebrating but soon they realised that it’s a no ball.

Fakhar Zaman had got another life in the fourth ODI of his career and he converted it into a big and memorable one. Over by over, he kept on improving his strike rate and punished hard the Indian bowlers. Gradually he crossed the 100 runs milestone and scored his first international hundred that too in such a big game.

After hitting 3 huge sixes and 12 fours, Fakhar ended up scoring 114 runs off 106 balls before he was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the 34th over. Meanwhile, the Twitterati hailed this youngster’s tremendous batting and what they wrote for him is worth giving a read.

The other good thing with Fakhar getting out is Rameez will stop saying ‘Fakhar’ in a British accent. It’s sounded odd.#INDvPAK

Shoiab Malik comes in.
A Fakhar get out.
And Jijaji enters.
Sorry to push a cliche: but this is the plot of Savita Bhabhi.#INDvPAK

Hence necessary to give chance to new blood. Who would’ve thought, debutant Fakhar Zaman scoring such a century in such a critical match.
