Virat Kohli is a true living legend and he has proved it over and over again, in all conditions and against all teams. He proved that he is the king of batting when he scored a brutal 81 off 68 balls against arch rivals Pakistan in a crucial encounter. India is now well-placed to make the semis, but nothing can be assured and who better than Virat Kohli to know that. But when he was playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year, there were a lot of controversies that marred the battle, from Virat Kohli being named Donald Trump by Australian media to Steven Smith making gestures to Kohli, the blood has been brewing. But in a recent turn of events it seems Australia have extended an arm of friendship to Virat Kohli.
Speaking to an Australian media house former Australian captain Michael Clarke said, “I have never played under Virat, so again captaincy-wise I am looking from afar. He has done a pretty good job. I think he is growing every day, he is working out his style and it does take time. Sometimes, you need to go through experiences to work out your strengths and weaknesses and he will do that. He is wonderful player there is no doubt about it”.
“Captaining a cricket team, it brings out your personality, whether you like it or not. You can’t hide, you are on camera 24/7. So you watch the way Virat bats, I can see that in his captaincy. He can’t be the best player and the best captain in the world on his own though. He needs support from the team,” he further added.

So, by the looks of it Clarke a legend in his own right feels it is better to apologise as Australia could take on India in the semis or the Finals. Australian media has bashed Virat Kohli left and right and Virat Kohli made it very clear that if someone does not respect him he will not either, which make it clear.
