Afghanistan spinner, Rashid Khan, who is currently playing in the Caribbean Premier League for Guyana Amazon Warriors, bagged his first hat-trick in the all-important playoffs encounter against Jamaica Tallawahs. Rashid Khan has been taking giant strides in the international cricket scene ever since he started playing in the Indian Premier League. The Afghanistani spinner has improved upon his bowling with many new tricks included in his repertoire.

He showed some of his master strokes when he bagged his career’s first hat-trick in a CPL match. It was a high spirited match, with a lot at stake for both the teams, but young Rashid Khan’s hat-trick seemed to be the game changer for the Warriors as they won the match in a canter. The Tallawahs scored 168, which was gunned down by a breathtaking 33-ball 70 by Luke Ronchi.

Let us show you how Rashid Khan actually bagged the wickets. Here is the video of the first hat-trick.

The last wicket of Powell was the best of the lot where Khan completely foxed the beefy West Indian.

Earlier, Kumar Sangakkara had held his ground to slam an unbeaten knock of 57 runs off 38 balls and help Tallawahs get to a respectable total. They had set a target of 169 runs.

One thing is for certain, with the young Khan ticking all the right boxes, he will propel the popularity of cricket in his country.
