Bhajji Blast: Harbhajan, Watson Troll ‘Youngsters’ Yuvraj Singh and Shahid Afridi On The Show – WATCH

Bhajji Blast: Harbhajan Singh in a candid conversation with Chennai Super Kings teammate Shane Watson

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is getting all the praise for his new web talk show Bhajji Blast. The show, launched in May during the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2018, invites cricketers to talk about what they do in their personal lives, away from the cricket field.

Many prominent cricketers like Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo among others have so far featured in this talk show and revealed many things about the personal lives.

Recently, Harbhajan’s IPL team—Chennai Super Kings (CSK)—teammate Shane Watson appeared on the show. During the show, Watson and Bhajji talked about issues like ball-tampering, abusing on-field and more. Watson and Bhajji also trolled former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi and India’s World Cup-winning hero Yuvraj Singh for being regarded as the ‘youngsters’ in the cricket world.

Bhajji was sharing his experience of the 2001 series when Australia toured India for three Test matches. During this tour, Harbhajan snapped up the first-ever Test hat-trick by an Indian bowler. He finished the series with 31 wickets under his belt.

During the conversation, Watson asked Bhajji how old he was during the 2001 Australia tour, to which Bhajji replied he was 18. Watson, known for his quirky comments, asked whether he was talking about his ‘cricket age’ or birth age. Bhajji couldn’t control himself and burst into laughter.

Bhajji then asked Watson whether he spent a lot of time with Shahid Afridi?

Without wasting any time, Watson replied “he has been 36 for about 7 years. That’s a great effort.”

Besides Afridi, Bhajji also trolled his Indian teammate Yuvraj Singh. He said, “Me and Yuvraj, we played together U-14, U-16 than U-19. I got overage and Yuvraj still continued to play.”
