Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivers his promise to fans, reveals 'better half' after 145 days via Instagram post

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is currently leading India's pace attack against Australia in limited overs along with Jasprit Bumrah

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has fulfilled the promise he made on May 11 when he posted a photo of himself sitting at a restaurant with the caption reading “Dinner date, full pic [sic] soon”. Soon enough rumours started floating that Bhuvneshwar was dating Telugu actress Anusmriti Sarkar. Bhuvneshwar responded to the rumours with hard-hitting messages and put an end to the speculations. His response was, “Whoever going with this false rumour of me dating her”, please note she is definitely not the one you are looking for!! So please stop spreading it. I myself will introduce the one when it’s time.”.

But after 145 days Bhuvneshwar has spilt the beans and revealed his better half through an Instagram post, as promised. Bhuvneshwar shared the full photo of his dinner date on October 3. It is to be noted that Bhuvneshwar had shared the same photo, only cropped, on May 11.

And here’s how he silenced rumour-mongering with a post –

Bhuvneshwar has been in good form since the previous few series. He did exceptionally well in the India vs Australia ODI series, delivering in both death overs and with the new ball. His partnership with Jasprit Bumrah is playing off and their consistency to deliver the ball in the strategically right areas has been troubling the Aussie batsmen.

However, Bhuvneshwar has not been able to make a mark in the Test format. He has not been given enough chances in the longest version of the game because Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav have performed as required in the previous few Test matches.

Bhuvneshwar evolved as a death overs specialist while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Indian Premier League (IPL). His significant batting performances have also given India a boost in the lower order.

The 27-year-old will be back in action against Australia in the three-match T20I series starting October 7.
