7 Rajpal Yadav moments that prove he is the finest comedian in Bollywood

Here's to Rajpal- an underrated comical genius

After Govinda and Johnny Lever, if there is anybody whose comic timing is to die for, it is hands down Rajpal Yadav. One of the most underrated actors Bollywood has seen in recent years, it’s terrible that the last few years have not been kind to him. Right from the early 2000s, his expressions, the eccentric characters he chose to play and his poker-faced dialogue delivery had us ROFLing even before ROFL was an actual word. Even today, if you think about the hilarious ending scene in Hungama, you can’t help but smile.

Here are 7 hilarious Rajpal Yadav moments from the big screen that will remind you why he is one of the best comedians we’ve witnessed:

Hungama

This was a multi-starrer with no big star in the movie. Rajpal single-handedly stole the show with his hilarious dialogue delivery and proved you don’t need big stars to create a block-buster.  His timid village boy character was the highlight of the movie.

Chup Chup Ke

The confused, bumbling sidekick who always found himself in the eye of the storm. He didn’t get any ghaghro choli that day, but he did get a whole lot of accolades  taaliyan for his performance!

Dhol

The shirts. The pants. The shades. The hairstyle. The chains. That’s Martand Dambhere for you. #DealWithIt

Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya

The highlight of the movie is when Thapa seamlessly decides he ain’t gon be washing hands after muutra visarjan. Screw societal pressure, right?

Bhool Bhulaiya

The first time a Bollywood character turned into a meme was when Rajpal turned into a tiny red pandit. Thank you for the memes, my man!

Hungama

Yet another gem from Hungama. Babu Bisleri gives equal competition tho, doesn’t he?

GOVINDA AND RAJPAL YADAV IN THE SAME SCENE. What more do you want?

Wouldn’t you love to watch him make a comeback in a rib tickling comedy? We sure do!
