Why are dead babies and deformed body parts considered art?

Graphic designer Qixuan Lim makes spooky sculptures of little dead babies that and their body parts. Check out her eerie art:

Would you go to an art exhibition if we tell you there are dead babies, human body parts and dismembered fingers on display? Before you go berserk, be informed that all the gore and just sculptures, and you don’t have to go through the pain of looking at actual intestines and gore (unless you’re into that kinda stuff) and cringe for days!

Singaporean graphic designer Qixuan Lim has a peculiar obsession: little babies, err…dead little babies that is, and their body parts. Her sculptures have tiny brains, hearts, and eyes that look exactly like they were just pulled out of a fetus, and obviously a plethora of dead baby sculptures. Dead babies in jars, severed dead baby heads, babies coming out of eggs etc are her muses. When asked why — she was quoted saying this in an interview:

I think it was this personal fascination fuelled by the hunger to impress someone I really respected that resulted in my first sculptures. I think I just fell in love with sculpting right after that and wanted to do it more

Her sculptures are so eerily detailed that they will spook you out for a second. With more than 50k followers, her pictures are loved by (and spook out) thousands of people who are fascinated by the hauntingly realistic pictures.

She also has a website where she puts up her creepy dead baby art on sale! And here’s the bizarre thing: People love stocking up on these!

Check out these babies (no pun intended) right here on her Instagram account, but wait — this post is for Not for faint-hearted.
